No Time Like the Present to Focus on Your Fitness

Bodybeach and Shakeology with Anna
Making changes for a healthier lifestyle to be fit and lose weight is never easy. With enough motivation and dedication anything is possible though.

It’s the beginning of the new year and I’m sure there are tons of people who have made the New Year’s Resolution to lose weight or get in shape. I know everyone is probably tired of hearing people talk about getting in shape at the beginning of the year and then see them go right back to their bad habits. But sometimes people can surprise you and make it stick.

My girlfriend, Anna, has wanted to get back into shape and lose weight for a little bit now. She actually decided she was going to dedicate herself to changing her lifestyle before the new year. She wanted to become more active and eat better. She just didn’t know exactly how she was going to go about it.

She had been following someone on Facebook that was doing a Beachbody program with Shakeology. It is a combination of using a shake for a meal replacement and your choice of a workout program like P90X. Anna started reading more about it and really like what she found. The ingredients in Shakeology seems to be really good and beneficial. She also liked the fact that the Beachbody program had several choices to use for the workouts.

After talking with people and researching, Anna decided to take the plunge with Beachbody. She decided to go all out and also become a coach. This way she could help motivate herself and others in the process. She is just at the beginning of her journey of change, but I have confidence that she will stick with it and really succeed. You can follow her fitness journey on her Facebook page, FitForeverAgain.

I was originally born in Missouri, but traveled around most of my childhood. My mom finally got tired of moving while we were in Dallas, Texas and I have been here ever since. After high school I started college at the University of North Texas (UNT) and started working in the computer field. I currently work for JCPenney as a front end software engineer for their e-commerce website. Before this I worked for AT&T about 12 years and started with them in 1999 (when they were Southwestern Bell). I have many passions and I really love photography. Besides photography I also love sports. I not only like to watch it, but I also love to play. Currently my friends and I play indoor soccer and flag football.
