Pacquiao vs Marquez III

Pacquiao vs Marquez III

Marquez will face Pacquiao for the third time on November 12th in Las Vegas. You can also catch the fight on HBO PPV.

Manny Pacquiao will again step into the ring with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12th in Las Vegas, NV at the MGM Grand. They have faced off two other times going the distance in each with Pacquiao taking the victory each time. Unfortunately they were both very close contests with some debating that Marquez actually won one or both of the fights.

Whether you believe Marquez won or you agree with the judges that Pacquiao was the victor, both fights were very entertaining. Since fighting each other they have both had significant success in their careers, but Marquez has always tried to chance down a third fight to prove that he should have been the victor in the previous contests. Well Marquez will be getting that chance on November 12th.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the fight with fans on each side predicting that their fighter will come out victorious in convincing fashion. Some others believe that this third fight has come too late. They believe that Marquez’s age and recent wars will be too much to overcome in facing Pacquiao.

Pacquiao recently has seemed like an unstoppable beast and contribute to some thinking it will be a blowout in Pacquiao’s favor. Marquez has a warrior’s heart and courage though and definitely won’t give up without a fight. So Pacquiao definitely will need to step up his game and go for a brutal KO. I’m a Pacquiao fan I would love for him to knock Marquez out and settle the score once and for all. He definitely needs to put on a performance that removes all doubt and show why he deserves to be listed as the number 1 pound for pound boxer in the world.

I was originally born in Missouri, but traveled around most of my childhood. My mom finally got tired of moving while we were in Dallas, Texas and I have been here ever since. After high school I started college at the University of North Texas (UNT) and started working in the computer field. I currently work for JCPenney as a front end software engineer for their e-commerce website. Before this I worked for AT&T about 12 years and started with them in 1999 (when they were Southwestern Bell). I have many passions and I really love photography. Besides photography I also love sports. I not only like to watch it, but I also love to play. Currently my friends and I play indoor soccer and flag football.

  1. So what does everyone think of the fight? It was very disappointing but I believe Pacquiao did just enough to win. For some reason he didn’t seem as focused as he normally is. He had glimpses but never really got going and would let up anytime he would start to do good. I don’t see where everyone is getting upset about the him winning. I do believe it was a very close fight and could see it go either way, but truly believe Pacquiao forced the action and did enough to win.
