How the Year has Flown By

This year has really seemed to fly by faster than normal. I’m not really sure if that is a good or bad thing as this hasn’t really been a good year. Hopefully with the new year approaching I can organize my thoughts and goals and really get some things going. I had wanted this year to be a productive one, but for various reasons it has not. So I figure I’ll just relax this last month and really gear up toward next year. I look forward to getting more into my photography and actually making more time for it. I also plan on just setting aside more time to just relax and have fun. I think I haven’t really done that this year. There has been plenty of time for me to do it, but I think I just wasted it by watching TV or just doing nothing. I really want to enjoy life more next year. There is a repeating thought that keeps going through my head of “I’m haven’t really been me for awhile” and I think I miss being me. So that is what I’m going to try to get back to. Just being me!

I was originally born in Missouri, but traveled around most of my childhood. My mom finally got tired of moving while we were in Dallas, Texas and I have been here ever since. After high school I started college at the University of North Texas (UNT) and started working in the computer field. I currently work for JCPenney as a front end software engineer for their e-commerce website. Before this I worked for AT&T about 12 years and started with them in 1999 (when they were Southwestern Bell). I have many passions and I really love photography. Besides photography I also love sports. I not only like to watch it, but I also love to play. Currently my friends and I play indoor soccer and flag football.
