Grandma’s Sugar Cookies

As a kid I use to love making sugar cookies with my Grandma. Unfortunately as I got older, I did it less frequently. Even though my Grandma has since passed away, around the holiday’s I always think of her and I making sugar cookies together. It is one of my fondest memories with her. My Grandma was very old school though. She really didn’t go off a set recipe. I had gotten the recipe from her but it was mainly just a list of ingredients without the measurements. For her it was easy. She just put a little of this, a …

Back from Being MIA

Sorry I have been MIA lately, but things have been super busy for me this year. I have gotten engaged, travelled outside the country, switched jobs, and have a bunch of side projects going on. So I’ve really let me writing time and this blog slip. I know I’m not super popular and not a go to place for anything in particular, but I still wanted to just apologize to those that do visit my little part of the web. I promise I will get the final part to my AngularJS and Foundation For Apps write-ups done and posted. Plus I …

Review: Perry’s Steakhouse in Frisco

At the end of last year during my lunches at work, I noticed that they were building a new steakhouse by the Stonebriar Mall. I love steakhouses so this intrigued me. As it neared completion I noticed it was a Perry’s Steakhouse. I had not heard of Perry’s before so I had to look it up. I actually made the reservations for the day after Valentine’s Day so we could pick off …

Snowboarding Mt. Baker

Had a chance to make it up to Seattle this year and snowboard at Mt. Baker. I had heard a lot of good things about how good the powder normally was on Mt. Baker. Unfortunately this year has been a bad year. We got there and there were few trails open on the mountain and it was very rainy. We still managed to have fun, but we definitely had to make the best of a bad situation. Here are some pics: You can see the full album on my Facebook page.

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding Review

My girlfriend got me a new snowboard right before our first trip of the season as an early Christmas gift. I wanted to take my old board and the new one on the trip. The original plan was just to use my old bindings for each board. I could just switch out the bindings from board to board, but I’m very lazy. So I decided to get new bindings, the K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding. I was very impressed with them and absolutely love my purchase. Here is my review I wrote up and submitted to the online seller. Originally submitted …

There will always be things that come up in life and there will always be a reason to not follow through. So you really have to …
